It would be easy to say that we simply hang lights, but at the risk of sounding corny, we are much more than that. We are the continuation of a legacy built on local history.

In Northeast Ohio, we are not newcomers. Our roots here run deep, nearly two centuries deep. Growing up in Gates Mills and now living in Chesterland, multiple roads in the local area are named after our ancestors, as a child, I ignorantly thought this was the norm. This isn't just where I work, this is my heritage and our home.

This is the foundation of our difference. While others may see holiday lighting as seasonal work, we view it as an extension of the tradesmanship and work ethic instilled in me from a young age. Those lessons were passed down from my great-great-grandfather who farmed the local land, to my great-grandfather, to my grandmother, and great aunts and uncles who were taught in the classrooms of Chester School. It is that same work ethic taught and passed down to me by my father, grandfathers, many uncles, and cousins, that had me learning carpentry, mechanics, and electronics before I could drive.

For twenty-six years, I have been honing my craft. From painting and finish carpentry under my uncle's expert direction in the Heights as a teen, to work in my own remodeling company still to this day, every mentor, trade, and teacher taught me the same thing:

That commitment to detail is what founded my other company (www.Arenesse.com) almost fifteen years ago. When other contractors were heading south for winter or slowing down around the holidays, I was quietly perfecting the art of holiday lighting. First as a hobby, then a side hustle, now as an independent, driven mission.

My wife, Kat, and I, who I met while in math class my Senior year at West Geauga High School, have now built our life here together for nearly twenty years, and in 2024 took this passion to the next level. We are committed to being the premier holiday and Christmas light installation and decorating company for Cleveland's Eastern suburbs.

We are uncompromisingly and unapologetically detail-oriented with the quality of our materials and the precision of our installations. We don't use consumer-grade products. Rob is the face you'll see running the crews in the field. He has over 26 years experience in the trades, and on ladders. 

General contractor turned holiday lighting enthusiast. During the warm months you can find Rob swinging the hammer and building some of the finest bathrooms in all of Northeast Ohio, but in the winter months, you can be sure to find him hanging some of the most beautiful Christmas Light displays The Chagrin Valley and greater Cleveland area has ever seen. 

Kat is the backbone to the whole system. Kat handles booking, scheduling, and all administrative duties of the office. We Couldn't do it without her!

Zyla is our Videographer, social media consultant, logo and marketing designer, and all around Superstar. Sharing in the tradition of enjoying the holiday spirit and Christmas lights, along with her Mother and Father, she is trying to help keep the Christmas magic going, one house at a time.
